Victoria Falls Bridge
The bridge carrying the road and railway across the Zambezi River just below and within sight of the Falls. The bridge was the first to be built across the Zambezi, and was completed in 1905, to the design of Sir R. Freeman, by the Cleveland Bridge and Engineering Company, England. The bridge originally carried two railway tracks but was converted to road and rail in 1930, when the whole structure was strengthened. It is 202 metres long and 90 metres above the river bed.
