My Dad

A picture of my Dad taken at some time during the Second world War, probably some time after 1941 as he has the rank of a lieutenant. So far I have found that he served on the following ships:

  • HMS Valient - 1939 to 1940
  • HMS Nigeria - 1940 - 1941
  • HMS Queen of Bermuda - 1941 - 1942
  • HMS Sussex - 1943 - 1944
  • HMS Cossack - 1945 - 1946
