Palazzo Farnese
The French Embassy is lucky enough to occupy this 'king of palaces', built in the 16th century under the successive supervision of three great architects, Antonio da Sangallo, Michelangelo and Giacomo della Porta. Inside are superb frescoes by Annibale Caracci - apparently, as we're not allowed to see them.
